How to solve tan



Tan is the most common sign of exposure to the sun's damaging UV rays. While it might be tempting to slather on a daily SPF, excessive exposure can lead to skin cancer. Hispanics are at increased risk of developing melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, and African-Americans are more likely to develop other types of skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.



How can we solve tan

While you can't completely prevent tanning, there are ways to protect yourself when you're out in the sun. Wear a hat, apply sunscreen regularly and stay out of the midday sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when UV rays hit their peak strength. Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day and applying a hydrating moisturizer after you shower. And if you see any signs of skin damage or abnormalities, see your doctor right away so you can start treatment early.
